Overview
Eloralintide is a synthetic, long-acting amylin analogue that acts selectively at amylin receptors. Amylin signalling is a distinct pathway from the GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptor pathways targeted by incretin-class research peptides such as Semaglutide, Tirzepatide and Retatrutide. Supplied as a 10mg sterile lyophilised powder.
Research
Amylin is a separate peptide hormone co-secreted with insulin by pancreatic beta cells. Its receptors are formed by the calcitonin receptor paired with receptor activity-modifying proteins (RAMPs) — a different receptor family from GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors. Eloralintide is used in vitro to study selective amylin receptor activation, selectivity versus the calcitonin receptor, and comparator pharmacology alongside incretin-class peptides.
